For Pakistani advocates, juniors and law students

A whole chamber, working your case.

Ahlmad unties the bundle: an FIR, a bail order, a note from the client.

Bring the FIR, the notice or the order. Wakeelnama's pixel chamber reads it, researches it, argues both sides and drafts it in court form. Every citation is checked against the judgment itself. You stay counsel.

Made for the phone in the court corridor. The interface is in English, with اردو for the main screens and more on the way.

A sample case file

What lands on your board, and the draft it turns into.

An invented post-arrest bail matter, shown the way the app shows it. The names and facts are made up. The section is real, and nothing is cited that the library does not hold.

Facts

FIR lodged two days after the occurrence

The FIR gives no reason for the delay.

Pinned by you

No recovery from the applicant

The remand order records none.

Authorities

Section 497(2), Code of Criminal Procedure, 1898

Bail where there are sufficient grounds for further inquiry.

  2. That the FIR was lodged two days after the occurrence and the delay is not explained.
  3. That nothing has been recovered from the applicant, and his case calls for further inquiry within the meaning of section 497(2) of the Code.
The Drafter writes in court form only after you approve the strategy. Yellow marks are blanks for you to fill; the red underline is the Checker's mark on a citation it matched to the stored text.
The cast

Eight characters, each with one job, all on your case file.

What you see them do is what they are doing. When the Researcher climbs the ladder, a search is running. When the Bench raises an eyebrow, a question is on its way to your board.

Ahlmad

Keeps the case file. Every paper filed, every version kept.

Munshi

Reads the papers. Dates, sections, the diary, limitation.

Researchers

One per issue. Statutes and judgments, paragraph by paragraph.

Senior Counsel

Your lawyer agent. Forum, maintainability, strategy, honest weak points.

Opposing Counsel

Attacks your case before the other side does.

The Bench

Asks what the judge will ask, with your best answer.

Drafter

Court-ready drafts on legal paper, in the form each court expects.

Checker

Matches every citation to the judgment, word for word.

A day with Wakeelnama

A post-arrest bail, from the FIR to a filed draft.

An example matter, not a real case. Every step is something the app does today, in live mode, while you get on with your hearings.

  1. 8:40 am

    The papers arrive

Your client’s brother sends photos of the FIR and the remand order to your phone. Standing in the court corridor, you open a new case and upload them.

  2. 8:45 am

    Ahlmad files, the Munshi reads

The Munshi pulls out the FIR number, the police station, the sections and the dates, and builds a timeline. Two questions land on your board: which court will hear the application, and what exactly the client wants.

  3. 10:15 am

    Between hearings, the law

Senior Counsel frames the issues: the forum, whether the offence falls within the prohibitory clause, and grounds for further inquiry. A Researcher takes each issue to the library and brings back judgments, each tied to its paragraph. On one point the library has nothing, and the board says so.

  4. 11:30 am

The other side, and the bench

Opposing Counsel argues that the accused is named in the FIR with a specific role. The Bench asks what the record shows on recovery. Each point comes with the best answer the file allows.

    You decide

Over lunch you read the board, reject one argument you would not run before this court and pin the two you will. Then you approve and pick the form: a post-arrest bail application. Nothing was drafted before this moment.

    Drafted, then checked

The Drafter types the application in court form: heading, parties, grounds and prayer. The Checker matches every citation to the stored judgment and marks one “partly supports”, so you swap it for a stronger paragraph.

Signed off, and in the diary

Back at the chamber you edit two paragraphs, sign off and download it as a Word file to print on legal paper. You add the hearing date to the case. You file the next morning, and the evening before the hearing a reminder arrives in the app and by email.

No citation without a source paragraph

The agents cannot invent a case. We built it so they can't.

See the checks, step by step

Agents may only cite passages our search actually returned, by reference, never from memory. The app writes the citation, not the model.

Every quote is matched character for character against the stored judgment. A second check confirms the paragraph really supports the sentence.

Judgments later treated negatively are flagged before they reach your draft. When the library has nothing on a point, the answer says so.

Built for practice here

The parts of the job nobody else built for.

The diary
Hearings and deadlines from every case, by day and by month, with today’s and tomorrow’s first on your home screen. Add them to Google or Apple Calendar with a private link.
Court form
Bail applications before and after arrest, legal notices, plaints, written statements, Article 199 petitions, appeals, family suits, rent petitions and miscellaneous applications. Legal paper, wide binding margin, Word export.
The Munshi’s tools
Limitation with copy time and court closures, Hanafi inheritance shares with section 4 of the Muslim Family Laws Ordinance, maintenance arrears, interest and dates. Every result shows its working and the rule it used.
Law as it stood
Give the case its cause-of-action date. The agents are told to apply the law as it stood then, and to say when they cannot tell whether a provision has changed since.
Good law or not
A citator built from the judgments themselves: cited by, followed, distinguished, overruled. A signal sits beside every judgment in the library.
Private by design
Encrypted case files, visible to you and your chamber only, never used to train any model. Download everything, or delete it, whenever you choose.
For law students

Moot practice with a bench that asks back.

  • A free plan that is useful on its own: the library, citator signals, the calculators and 10 cited answers a day.
  • Open your moot problem as a practice case and the Bench puts the questions a judge would ask, with Opposing Counsel arguing the other side.
  • Read the most cited judgments in the library with paragraph numbers and a signal for how later cases treated them.
  • Case briefs of leading judgments are planned, written by us and checked against the text.
Wakeelnama for studentsStudent plan Rs. 500 a month.
What it is not

A tool for counsel. Never a substitute for one.

  • Not a law firm

Wakeelnama does not take clients, appear in court or file anything. It prepares; you are counsel and you sign.

  • Not legal advice

Its answers and drafts are research for a lawyer to check, not advice to a client. Read every draft before it goes to court.

  • Not a replacement for reading the judgment

Every citation opens the paragraph it rests on, so you can read it in full. The Checker marks what it could not confirm.

  • Not connected to any court or bar council

Wakeelnama is a private product. It is not an official service and does not speak for any court.

Questions

What lawyers ask us first.

What does it cost?

The Free plan costs nothing and needs no card: the statute and judgment library, citator signals, the calculators, 10 cited answers a day, 1 open case file and 1 full chamber run a month.

Paid plans: Student Rs. 500 a month, Pro Rs. 2,500 a month, Chambers Rs. 2,000 a month per seat. Prices are in rupees, and paying for a year costs less.

Compare the plans

How do I pay?

Request a plan on the Plan page in the app. It shows the amount, a reference for your payment and the accounts you can pay into by bank transfer, JazzCash or Easypaisa, each with a button to copy the details.

After paying, send us the receipt or the transaction ID on the same page. Once we see the money, your plan switches on and we email you. Nothing is charged on the site itself.

Who can see my case files?

Only you, and the members of your chamber you invite. Uploaded documents are encrypted at rest. Our staff cannot open a case unless you let support read it, and that access lasts 48 hours and is logged.

Case text sent to our AI provider is not used to train any model. You can download all your data as one file, or delete a case or your whole account, at any time. Read the privacy page.

Can I trust the citations?

The agents cannot write a citation of their own. They cite passages the library search returned, the app writes the citation, and every quote is matched word for word against the stored judgment. Anything that fails is removed or marked in red.

That stops invented cases. It does not replace reading the judgment before you rely on it. See how the checks work.

Does it work in Urdu?

Partly, and more each month. Switch the app to اردو from the top bar and the layout turns right to left: the navigation, Today, help and the main labels are in Urdu, and other screens are being translated. You can write case notes and questions in Urdu or English. Judgments, statutes and drafts stay in the language they were written in and always read left to right.

Can I use it on my phone, or without a connection?

It is built for the phone first, with the main sections in a bar at the bottom of the screen; add it to your home screen from the browser menu. It needs a connection and does not work offline yet. Pages are kept light for a weak signal, and a chamber run keeps going on our side if your signal drops.

What does the library cover?

It is being built, and we say so. Today it holds 0 statutes and 0 judgments. When the library has nothing on your point, the answer says so instead of guessing. More courts are added as we get permission to collect them.

Can my juniors and munshi use it with me?

The Chambers plan gives each person their own seat with shared case files, so a senior, juniors and a munshi work on the same matters. Each seat is paid for.
